Around the 2nd and 3rd centuries after Christ, Berber groups from North Africa migrated to the Canary Islands, leading the first stable settlement of the archipelago. In addition to a whole cultural baggage, they brought with them those resources that formed the basis of their subsistence: seeds and domestic animals. A new History began.
