ption: Semi-spherical shape with handle in over-elevated position, decorated and perforated. It presents as a finishing technique: burnished for the interior and exterior. Highlights include the intensity of the burnishing, the dark color of the ceramic, resulting from the reducing cooking, and the decoration of the handle. Regarding the latter, it presents at its end a human face in medium relief obtained by modeling, in which the nose and mofletes stand out, and impressions that signal the eyes and mouth. Below the face is the perforation. Use
/function: Domestic and/or cult container. Its shape and dimensions link it to functions such as drinking liquid in small quantities, containing and passing liquids or substances, and pouring from one container to another. However, its finish and decoration link it with ritual ceremonies. In any case, the aforementioned face moflets depicted on the handle secure the position of the thumb when the piece is roasted. On t
he other hand, and for the hole also present in the handle, perforations are functional resources that allow the suspension of the obje
