The Museo Canario collaborates since 2007 with the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the training of undergraduate students in History, in accordance with the collaboration agreement signed between the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Canarian University Foundation of Las Palmas and our institution. This year the students Ruth Medina Hernández and Marco Antonio Castro Pérez have developed throughout the month of March the curriculum program of the compulsory subject External Practices of the Degree in History, under the supervision of the technical staff of the museum. During their stay, students are offered the opportunity to tour all the sections of the museum – the Administrative, Documentary and Museum areas – in order to obtain general training and become familiar with the different functions.
