On 18 and 19 October, the hall of events of The Canary Museum hosts the II Archaeology Days, organized with the sponsorship of the Government of the Canary Islands. This time the Conferences will cover the "Archaeology of Children: Questions and Strategies for a Social Approach".

Childhood is a segment of the population that, despite its importance in understanding any society, has not received the required attention. This is a period of life of special importance in any human group because it will depend on the regeneration of the community and because in that time the processes of socialization and learning that will shape the social identity of the individual take place.

The Canary Museum presents in these Conferences some of the research that is currently being carried out in different societies of the past. To this end, in addition to hosting the research carried out in the Canary Islands, the meeting has the participation of professionals at the national level.

The II Archaeology Days are sponsored by the Government of the Canary Islands. The entrance is free until capacity is completed, and the attendance is certified as equivalent to 10 teaching hours by the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
