On the occasion of the European Night of the Museums, the Canary Museum opens its doors in an extraordinary way this Saturday, May 20, from 19:00 to 22:00 h. While visitors can tour its showrooms, music lovers will be able to enjoy the concert "Women Composers", which they offer from 20:00 h. students of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias, coordinated by Professor Laura Vega.
This concert is part of the project "Music of Women in the Classrooms", an initiative promoted since 2015 by the association Women in Music. The Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias participates this year for the first time, with a program that includes compositions by Cécile Chaminade, Louise Ferranc, Anna Ignatowicz-Glinska, Annette Kruisbrink, Fanny Mendelssohn and Clara Schumann.
