On April 23, International Book Day is celebrated, and to commemorate this date and promote the book and reading two activities have been organized that have the book as its protagonist. On the one hand, within our Family Visits program, this Sunday, April 22 will be enlivened by the reading of children's stories. Throughout the tour through the rooms of the museum, small and old can enjoy a selection of stories that speak of the Canary Islands, especially the Aboriginal world, but also other aspects such as the landscape, customs, etc. In addition, they will be able to create their own stories.

We remember that Family Visits start at 12:00 hours and are recommended for children from 5 to 12 years old, who must always be accompanied by an adult. The price of the same is 5 euros per person, children up to 12 years old and members of the museum free of charge. To participate you need to register in advance.

On the other hand, on April 21st we repeat our experience at the Maternal Children's Hospital, where a reading of children's stories will be carried out. This activity will be carried out in collaboration with The Heidelberg School. It will be a group of students of this center, accompanied by teachers and managers of the museum, in charge of carrying out the readings and bringing to the hospitalized children and their families a selection of stories of Canary content.
