The III Conference on Canarian Scientists and Technologists: Gregorio Chil and Naranjo will be held in Tenerife from 25 to 28 September. They are organized by the Institute of Canarian Studies and the Institute of Hispanic Studies of the Canary Islands and has the collaboration of the Fundación Canaria Telesforo Bravo-Juan Coello and El Museo Canario. The museum will participate with two conferences: the first of them, on September 27, by Teresa Delgado, curator of the institution, entitled "Gregorio Chil y Naranjo: an archaeological legacy for the future"; and the second, which will take place on September 28, and will close to this meeting, will be in charge of Fernando Betancor, the museum's archivist, who will lecture on "The archive of a 19th-century researcher". Both interventions will take place at the headquarters of the Institute of Hipnic Studies of the Canary Islands, in Puerto de la Cruz.
